Cortez is an old school community. Marketing is usually done through radio, newspaper, or word-of-mouth. It's one of the few places that job boards still exist in public areas.
I created this flyer with that in mind. Keep it old school and simple. I think it worked quite well.
VIGIL AUTO DETAILING
A friend of mine in Cortez, Colorado started an Auto Detailing business and I did the branding for it. I created the logo in illustrator and wanted to give it a vintage feel, as hot rodding and classic cars are a popular scene in that area.
I chose the blue gradients to represent cleansing, as well as give it a feeling of having bubbles.
Social Media Assets
The other common form of marketing in Cortez is using social media. I created social media assets for Vigil Auto Detailing.
My hope was to create video assets featuring the cars Vigil had detailed, but they failed to supply any pictures and videos. I couldn't help a brand that didn't want to help themselves.
