Legends of Candlestick

July 2014

I'm very proud of the work that I did for Legends of Candlestick.

I was tasked with creating the logo and branding for Joe Montana's final football game at the famous Candlestick Park in San Francisco.

I worked directy with Joe Montana, the 49er's, and Candlestick to create nearly all of the assets for the event.

In-Arena

I produced In-Arena graphics for numerous platforms and for many different reasons. From staff placards, to pop-up signage, to the ribbons that wrapped the park. I created dozens of different assets for the event. I primarily utilized Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Vector Logo

Knowing that the logo was going to be used in a large format, I knew it was essential to create a vector logo. I opted to use the 49er's early 90's color palette, a sporty font, and silhouettes of both Joe and Candlestick park.

I think we came up with something unique and captivating. How often do you get to see football legends wearing jerseys with a logo you'd created? Not very often.
